The City Full Of Rhythms

The City Full of Rhythms but as the locals say with pride better known as the Salsa Capital of the World. The Capital of the Valle Del Cauca is a City whose tourist attractions have their own history, active cultural life, and musical rhythms that are famed around the world. Caleños, as Colombians born in Cali are affectionately known,  are open, friendly, and warm. The people are wonderfully diverse, with a mix of African, European, and Indigenous Heritage. This melting pot results in a wide range of food, music, and style.

Cali’s Pulse

Cali is an energetic city that pulsates with culture, great food, and beautiful landscapes. You can feel the pulse of Cali in its nightclubs, festivals, and shows, where people express their passion and joy through movement and sound. When it comes to fine cuisine, Cali is second to none. Cali has something for everyone ranging from white tablecloth fine dining to street food that you can munch on as you wander the colonial streets. Thanks to its festive character, when you are in Cali, you will deeply appreciate its moniker.

Salsa Vibes

Caleños pride themselves in their artistic expression through Salsa. Rest assured, your tour guide will introduce you to this beautiful art form of dance. The people in the streets regularly have ad hoc dance parties. Everywhere you go you will encounter the wonderful rhythms of Salsa. The locals say you are not an authentic Caleño until you dance Salsa. Cali’s music, thanks to the Cities rich ethnic diversity, ranges from currulao of the Pacific Coast to the city’s main attraction: Salsa, the contagious, frenetic rhythms that are ingrained in Colombia’s soul.

Culture and Nature

Cali celebrates its multicultural heritage and its vibrant spirit. You can explore its colonial architecture, such as the San Francisco Church, the La Merced Convent, and the San Antonio Hill, or admire its modern art, such as the El Gato del Río sculpture, the La Tertulia Museum, and the Graffiti Tour. Just outside of Cali lies Los Farallones de Cali National Nature Park, which offers day hikes up Pico Loro, one of the most famous mountain peaks in the Region.  At the top of the Peak you will have unbeatable views of the City and surrounding mountains. For fun adventure activities visit Lake Calima one the largest lakes in the Country where you can kayak, jet ski, or kite surf.  From kayaking, hiking, concerts and fantastic cuisine, there is no shortage of things to see and do in Cali.
